Knife Crime Awareness Sessions

Last week, Staffordshire Police carried out a county-wide Week of Action focused on tackling knife crime, pat of this included awareness and engagement sessions in schools across Staffordshire.

PCSO Waters and PCSO Lowndes attended Painsley Catholic Academy to speak with young people about the dangers and consequences of knife crime and to raise awareness of the ongoing #DitchTheBlade campaign.

Working in partnership with New Vic Borderlines, we delivered an interactive game designed to encourage discussion around:

Pupils responded extremely positively to the activity, which was delivered as an open-access session. School staff were highly supportive in encouraging participation, helping generate valuable conversations about community safety and the role young people can play in creating safer environments.
